In many cases, using mature technologies and a reasonably straightforward approach works best. In others, the relative risk and expense of emerging technologies and methodologies is warranted; and sometimes a blend is most suitable.
Eye Street helps our Clients navigate this constantly evolving environment by persistently evaluating new tools and technologies, and then working closely with our Clients to determine the most appropriate technology investments for their particular situation.
A typical Eye Street architecture may include XHTML, AJAX, Java, XML, Tomcat, and Oracle, running on Linux and with additional considerations for accessibility, security, and high availability. If there are new and exciting technologies that are a good fit we can expertly deliver solutions using those as well, as demonstrated by recent successes we have had with Adobe Flex, Ruby on Rails, and the .NET Compact Framework.
To ensure that our projects always follow the most appropriate and reliable processes we embrace advances in development methodologies and best practices such as OpenUP/Basic and Agile Development. Our sophisticated engineering infrastructure includes outstanding packages like FogBugz and many excellent open-source tools including Ant, CruiseControl, and Subversion.
